Eclipse Season and Venus in Libra

Eclipse season has arrived! Tuesday night we had a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse that brought the energy to elevate consciousness. 

This marked the start of what we call “Eclipse Season”. It’s the time between eclipses when karmic patterns surface for clearing.

Remember that karmic patterns show up as emotional reactions which lead to behaviors we’ve engaged with over and over again.

During these next 3-4 weeks, it’s important to take care of your body through movement and increase water intake. You may also find it useful to journal and get out in nature.

But that’s not the only news for this week!

Since August 24th, Venus, our planet of love, relationships, sensuality, and connection has been in the Vedic sign of Virgo. This is considered her sign of debilitation, so you may have experienced some challenges in those areas of life.

Yet, fear not! As of September 18th, Venus moved into her own sign of Libra. This is a section of the zodiac where Venus can shine, since it is imbued with the qualities of balance, harmony, and relationships.

For the next 3 weeks, Venus will offer the opportunity to mend relationships, cultivate harmony, and enjoy life just a bit more.

This time is especially significant for mending relationships with father figures and sisters, since the Sun (father figures) and Mercury (sisters) will be conjunct with our past life karma planet Ketu in the sign of Virgo (healing). 

It is a time to use the mind to be logical and remember that everyone was doing their best. 

Even if it’s not possible to mend the “outer relationship”, it’s important to come to a place of peace with the past.

When you hold on to past hurts, regrets, and justifications, the only person you’re hurting is yourself.

So, take care of yourself over these next few weeks. Be kind to yourself and be willing to move forward.
