August’s Final Hurrah

On Thursday, August 22nd, Mercury retrogrades back into the emotional and deeply psychological section of the zodiac called Ashlesha. 

It’s possible that this will bring a bit of intensity to the mind as you start uncovering habitual patterns of feeling and thinking.

This will also be combined with Venus moving into the Vedic sign of Virgo on Saturday, August 24th.

Venus in Virgo tends to have us channel our emotions through the mind. There’s a tendency to “think it out” rather than “feel it out”.

So what is the best way to navigate this for your personal evolution?

 

If you remember back to the beginning of August, when I mentioned this entire month is imbued with uncovering the stories we tell ourselves and breaking through self-limiting beliefs, you can see that this final combination of energies will take us through to the end.

I use astrology like the weather, and the forecast shows that the mind may be prone to overthinking. 

When we overthink, we hyperfocus and become unsynchronized, which leads to anxiety, frustration, and all the other stressful emotions.

So, just like you grab an umbrella when it’s rainy out, it’s a good idea to prepare your mind for a surge of mental activity.

 

Schedule these activities into your week:

 

  1. Meditating (try this one!)
  2. Journaling (review last week’s prompts)
  3. Connecting in Nature (Walking, Swimming, Biking)

This energy continues through early September, yet, you can relax because we will get a reprieve when Mercury finishes retrograding on Wednesday, August 28th.
